Designed for adaptability

Bespoke design and manufacture means that Centor C1 folding doors are always adaptable to meet the specific requirements of you and your home.

You can choose between a compact or easy access sill, which is likely to depend on your particular needs and the design of your existing outside space. Our compact sill requires less space, and was designed to provide the perfect transition to decking, outdoor tiles or paving slabs. Our easy access sill, meanwhile, provides a gentle slope down into the outside environment

Configured to your specifications

The design and manufacture of each Centor C1 is bespoke, allowing you the freedom to set your own specifications. When choosing your configuration, there are a few points to consider. Do you want all panels to fold back to one side or to split in the middle? Do you need a single panel to access the outdoors? And if so, where should this be located? There are virtually no restrictions on panel combinations.

Our flagship C1 bifolding doors are available in any RAL colour and can be finished to a matt, satin or gloss sheen. There is also a selection of coloured metallic paints available at an an additional cost.

The exterior and interior is powder coated using Coatex which in official tests proved 65% more scratch resistant than standard powder lacquer. There are also more than 200 RAL colours to be chosen from to help match existing decor. The powder coating is UV resistant which prevents discolouring and loss of gloss.

Dual colours are also available providing one colour for the outside and a different colour for the inside. Dual colours require a longer lead time

A typical 3 Door Configuration

A popular choice for smaller openings, a 3-panel system like this ‘3 right’ layout provides a single access panel for entry from inside or outside just like a regular door. However, with fingertip-light operation, all three panels fold neatly to one side allowing for more open living space.

3 Door Configuration Min width 1500mm – Max width 3300mm, Max Height 2800mm

All configurations show outward opening doors but inward opening configurations are also available

4 Door Configuration Min width 2000mm – Max width 4400mm, Max Height 2800mm

4 Doors All one Way

.The layout of this typical 4+0 or ‘4 left’ configuration offers a clean external appearance. It can be designed to match the sight lines of any glazed gables. Plus you benefit from even more impressive system stability, because concealed hardware anchors the panels on both sides of the opening. Once closed they are totally secure, with no access from outside.

3 Doors Left One Right

An alternative option to a 4-panel one-way system for wider openings, a typical 3+1 layout like this ‘3 left, 1 right’ option has an access panel that allows entry from  inside or outside just like a regular door. Of course, it could also be ‘1 left, 3 right’  if you prefer. The panel next to the access panel is secured with a Twinpoint lock and both sets of panels fold neatly back to stack against both sides of the  opening when the doors are fully opened.

5 Door Configuration Min width 2500mm – Max width 5500mm, Max Height 2800mm

5 Doors All One Way

A 5-panel one-way system like this typical ‘5 right’ layout is often used to open up an entire wall of a home to the outside environment. This configuration provides an access panel for entry from inside or outside, just like a regular door. All panels can then also fold neatly and smoothly back to one side, stacking against the wall to maximise your available living space.

Three Doors Left Two Right

For a wider opening, perhaps even an entire wall of a room, this typical 3+2 configuration or ‘3 left, 2 right’ layout is ideal. With an access door built in to either the left or right, depending on your specification it allows entry like a regular door when the doors are fully closed. However, they can also be partially opened to either side – or fully folded back, stacking flat against both sides of the opening.

Smoothest possible fingertip operation

Enhance your home with a Centor C1 folding door and you will benefit from the smoothest possible fingertip operation for years to come.

The system is fully adjustable so it will always fit the opening perfectly, no matter how much wear and tear it experiences over time. With a Centor C1 folding door, you can feel the difference.

Fully adjustable for enduring perfection

The concealed hardware within your folding door system is fully adjustable to ensure that it always delivers the high performance expected by Centor. It means your doors will always operate smoothly, continuing to open and close with ultimate ease for years to come.

Centor’s Surelock™ technology allows the position of your folding doors to be adjusted both laterally and vertically. So they can be precisely and quickly adjusted to compensate for any building movement over time. This means that, unlike many other systems, once your Centor C1 folding doors are adjusted, they will continue to operate as smoothly as they did on the day they were installed.

First-class security

Your Centor C1 folding doors offer a range of built-in security features that are designed to give you peace of mind.

As well as the inherent strength and stability of the system, these include tamper-proof hinges and two first-class locking systems.

Stylish, single action locking system

High-security Centor C1 folding doors can be specified with either a keyed or non-keyed Twinpoint lock, depending on your personal preference.

You will be able to secure your folding doors in a single smooth hand action, locking the system both top and bottom. The sleekly designed Twinpoint handle complements the overall look and feel of your new doors and is available in a range of finishes on both stainless steel and aluminium handles.

Multi-point lock on any access panel

A high-performance multi-point lock is used to secure any access panel within the configuration of your folding doors. It is used in addition to the main single action Twinpoint lock, which closes and locks the whole Centor C1 folding door system.

The multi-lock secures the access panel within your doors in three locations, offering extra security. Added features include adjustable keeps and a high-performance gearbox, so the lock continues to operate smoothly over the years for continued peace of mind.
